 Hairbox is a beautifully equipped, modern and stylish salon, that opened in April 2005 initially as a hair salon and nail bar. Then in August the Beauty room was opened, so now a Top to Toe experience can be offered.
Not only for women but for men also.
Lynne, who has two teenage daughters, Gemma and Katie, owns the salon but her career background is in sales customer care, when asked why such a division in career Lynne explained. “I used to hate going to get my hair cur it was like going to the dentist and often I walked through the door, felt intimidated and almost apologised for being there. I do have very difficult hair. The stylist would ask what I would like but after a few cuts I knew I was not going to get it. I formed the opinion that I got what they could do. Eventually I found the perfect stylist, but he sold his shop and went abroad.”

Just before Christmas both Gemma and Katie wanted their hair cut with Hi Lights, the appointments were made. Gemma was quoted a price but when she went to pay it had increased, the explanation, “The style director did your hair”. When she came home it looked no  different. Katie returned home saying, “It’s ok”. Due to this I decided that we should open a salon and offer our clients the service they deserve”.
So, four months later Hairbox opened. The inspirational hard work of Lynne and her team shines through.
